Mama's Molasses Crinkles

Ingredients

3/4 Cups Butter

1 Cup Brown Sugar, Packed

1/4 Cups Molasses

2 1/4 Cups Sifted Flour

2 Teaspoons Baking Soda

1/4 Teaspoon Salt

1/2 Teaspoon Cloves

1 Teaspoon Cinnamon

1 Teaspoon Ginger

Instructions

Mix butter, brown sugar, and egg. Sift dry ingredients and stir into egg mixture.

Chill dough. Roll into balls and dip tops in sugar. Sprinkle with water.

Bake at 375 degrees F. on ungreased baking sheet, 8-12 minutes.
